LOUIS Walsh thinks the UL student, who was second runner up at Miss Ireland, is a star in the making. And who is she to argue?
The stunning Miss Clare dazzled the pop impresario at the Miss Ireland pageant last week and now the talent spotter is ready to snap Aoife up in a bid to make her a TV star.

"It was incredible really," the 21-year-old told the Weekender.

"Louis was at Miss Ireland and I got talking to him. He was telling me I should go for a career in television presenting. To be honest, I never even thought about it," the chemistry student admitted.

"He has given me his number and he is going to help me out. I also met Amanda Byram on the night, who is working as a presenter in LA at the moment. She gave me her number and told me to keep in touch, which I'm thrilled about!"

Aoife, who also wowed judges at the Miss Ireland finals, is currently on her off-campus year and is working in ESB Moneypoint. She returned to work this week.

"The Miss Ireland excitement has died down a bit now, but I am really looking forward to seeing if anything happens with television. It would be an amazing opportunity for me," said Aoife..

And modelling agent Celia Holman Lee is confident that Aoife will be a star.

"She is a beautiful girl, with brains to burn and is very accomplished. I have no doubt she will do brilliantly wherever her career takes her," said Ms Holman Lee.
