A SOURCE close to JP McManus, has dismissed as "a load of rubbish" speculation that world number one golfer, Tiger Woods, is to recuperate at Martinstown Stud.
Speculation had been mounting in recent times that the golfer, his wife Elin and their baby daughter Sam Alexis have plans for a short holiday in Limerick with a stay at the McManus family home near Kilmallock on the cards.

The US Open Champion has been advised by doctors to take a long break from golf following an aggravated knee injury.

"I would say it's a load of rubbish. I haven't heard anything
about it, not a thing," the source told the Limerick Leader this Wednesday.

On previous visits to Ireland Tiger, who is a close friend of Mr McManus has played in the JP McManus pro-am golf classic while staying at the five-star Adare Manor Hotel.
