THE Milford Harvest Fair, which was set to take place this Sunday, August 31, has been postponed due the effect of the recent weather on the grounds at Milford Care Centre.
At a joint meeting of Milford Care Centre management and the officers of Milford Harvest Fair, the decision was reluctantly taken following the review of a report from Milford's Health and Safety Officer on the condition of the grounds.

The grounds had been subjected to continuous inclement weather making them unsafe for volunteers and members of the public.

The Harvest Fair Officers will meet this Wednesday when another report will be available. It is hoped the fair can be confirmed for either September 14 or September 21.
