Even from its humble beginnings in 1889, when the first edition of the Limerick Leader hit the streets on Friday August 9, it has been living up to its name.
The mid-west’s largest newspaper, the Leader has long been the region’s primary paper of record, breaking exclusives, providing in-depth coverage of the latest Limerick news and providing a forum for readers to have their say on current events and issues that affect them.
From our offices at 54 O’Connell Street we produce three tabloid papers, the Limerick Leader on Monday and Wednesday morning, the Limerick Chronicle on Tuesdays and two broadsheet papers, the County edition published on Wednesday afternoon and the City edition on Thursday afternoon.
Over 50,000 copies of Property Today are distributed free throughout Limerick every week containing a comprehensive listing of homes for sale in Limerick and throughout the Mid-West, as well as news, expert opinion and features on all aspects of the property market. Our hugely popular freesheet Limerick Leader Weekender is delivered to homes and shops around the city and its environs every Thursday. All of our publications are printed at our top of the range printing press located on the Dock Road.
